About us

First Visit

What should you know before your first visit to our dental clinic?

At our clinic, we take a comprehensive approach to dental treatment. We want every patient to gain a complete understanding of their oral health. Dental examinations at WDA are highly thorough and supported by comprehensive diagnostics. Would you like to know what this involves? We invite you to read the full article.

Treatment History

Many of us have visited numerous dental clinics throughout our lives. It can be difficult to remember every appointment, what was treated and when the treatment took place. Ideally, every new patient visiting our clinic should bring their previous dental records with them. This allows us to assess changes in their oral health over time more quickly and without having to make assumptions. Simply contact your previous dentist, who will provide you with a complete set of records after the necessary formalities have been completed.

Patient Education

Dentistry and dental treatment methods are often unfamiliar to patients. They may have a general idea of how tooth decay is treated or what root canal treatment involves, but this is usually where their knowledge ends. There is nothing wrong with that — after all, patients are not expected to be dental experts. However, our experience shows that a lack of knowledge can cause patients to misjudge the work of their dentists or underestimate the importance of the information provided during an appointment.
Our goal is not only to resolve the patient’s dental problem, but also to ensure that they understand why a particular procedure is being performed and what its consequences may be. By understanding every aspect of their treatment, patients gain not only improved health and satisfaction, but also the knowledge necessary to help prevent the problem from recurring in the future.

Why Are Dental Examinations at Our Clinic Not Free of Charge?

Many dental clinics offer free examinations. These appointments usually last only a few minutes, involve no diagnostic tests and leave the patient with little more than a list of dental problems and a general estimate of the cost of treatment. Patients often look for the clinic offering the lowest price. In our opinion, this is not the right approach. An insufficiently thorough examination often leads to unexpected issues and additional costs later in the treatment process.

At WDA, we take a completely different approach. An examination at our clinic takes between 45 and 60 minutes. This gives us enough time to carefully review and analyse all the necessary information:

  • First, we will review the patient’s previous treatment history and discuss their expectations.
  • We will ask the patient to complete a medical questionnaire concerning their general health and any medications they are taking, as well as sign the necessary documents.
  • We will perform a comprehensive examination of the oral cavity.
  • We will take X-rays and/or perform a 3D scan of the oral cavity.
  • We have our own photography studio, where we take extraoral and intraoral photographs required to document the patient’s condition and prepare an appropriate treatment plan.
  • After the appointment, the patient receives a treatment plan, including a cost estimate and available treatment options.

During the appointment, we explain how the treatment will proceed and introduce the patient to the technologies and materials that will be used. We use only the highest-quality products available on the market. We communicate openly and help patients adapt their treatment plan to their individual budget. Where necessary, we can also prepare an instalment payment simulation.

We believe that this approach to examining new patients produces significantly better results and ultimately proves much more cost-effective. Why do we believe this? Because our patients tell us so — and their feedback is the best confirmation of our words.

Call us and book your appointment today. We will take care of everything else for you!
